Upon finding out I was expecting my third baby so shortly after the birth of my second, I fully expected to be off of work until September-ish to get a grip on life with three-a four year old, 1 year old and newborn. Of course, best laid plans never seem to come to fruition–I was getting antsy to work as I do with the change in season from winter every year and I knew that I’d never be able to meet the needs of all my past clients if I waited that long. I realized I will probably never have a grip on life like I used to, threw caution to the wind, and just like that my calendar is full for the rest of the year!
I look so forward to seeing these guys every summer. I have seen the personalities of these babies blossom from clingy infants, to shy toddlers, and now blooming little girls. One of the many reasons I love working with families and children so much! I was lucky enough to kick of my ‘official’ return to work post-partum with these guys over at Cherokee Marsh in Madison Wisconsin. It is such a beautiful area, I was thrilled to meet them there. It was a cloudy overcast day but just as we begun to wrap up, the skies parted and the sun rained down on us for the last ten minutes of our session and it was glorious!
